Controlled Sharing

Within the enterprise, system administrators select services and resources which they are willing to place under the control of Agility™. They also define policy governing the usage of those services and resources. For example, they may write a policy that allows some of their resources to be made available to other Departments in particular circumstances (e.g. overloading of the organization's business-critical applications).

Controlled Sharing

In the example illustrated above, the managers of Dept's A and B have mutually agreed to set their respective policy to allow instances of the other's application to run within their department. In so doing, instances of their apps may run in different geographic domains (e.g. for improved latency). This solution also improves availability by providing mulitple sources of each service.
